As writer, Ryn Holmes has drawn inspiration from family and friends in Southern California, the San Francisco Bay Area and now the Florida Gulf Coast. She has been published in the Four & Twenty online poetry journal, various editions of the Emerald Coast Review, Syzygy Poetry Journal, Indiana Voice Journal and international publications. She has 3 books in print. An award winning photographer, including first prize for ‘Art on Paper’ in San Francisco’s inaugural Art in the Park event, Ryn is a co-editor of Panoply literary zine.
Katherine Nelson-Born grew up in New Orleans and currently lives and writes in Pensacola, Florida. Her premiere poetry chapbook, When Mockingbirds Sing, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2016. Her poems have appeared in numerous journals, including Alyss, Birmingham Poetry Review, Emerald Coast Review, Excelsior ReView, GSU Review, Longleaf Pine, Maple Leaf Rag and Penumbra. Her poetry earned “Honorable Mention” at the 2015 Alabama Writers Conclave. Her poetry also previously won the University of New Orleans Ellipsis award for poetry and placed twice among finalists in the Agnes Scott College Writer’s Festival. Currently she is working on a novel and a new full-length book of poems while editing for K & K Manuscript Editors.
